CerviAsistAI – Computer-Assisted system for cervical cancer detection using Pap smear images is a research project funded by UEFISCDI PTE, grant PN-IV-P7-7.1-PTE-2024-0768, agreement 8PTE/2025. The goal of CerviAssistAI project is to make more effective the process of diagnosing cervical cancer, the second most common form of cancer in the world among women, by introducing an automated system of evaluating Evaluation of Papanicolaou smears in the process of screening, detection, and classification of cells.
Project Impact
The system developed in CerviAsistAI ensures analysis of a larger number of collected cells in less time and with a lower error rate.
