Modernizing agricultural practice using Internet of Things

Project Information

Implementation period: December 2021 – November 2023
Objective: To modernize agricultural practices by integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technologies into educational programs and practical applications in agriculture.
Goals:

  • Develop a digital educational platform focused on IoT in agriculture;

  • Create 6 demonstrative IoT applications;

  • Foster collaboration between educational institutions and industry partners from Norway and Romania;

  • Enhance students’ digital and entrepreneurial skills through international activities.

    3. Automated monitoring system for agricultural storage

    4. Digital modeling of food processing

    5. Intelligent control systems for food education processes

    6. Smart solutions for plant health monitoring

International activities:

  • TPM1 & TPM2 in Sandefjord, Norway

  • TPM3 in Sibiu, Romania (July 2023)

  • Summer schools in Sandefjord (2022) and Sibiu (2023)
